"I just wanted to let you know how much my staff and I have appreciated your product. After working in two public relations firms that struggled with Time Slips software for a number of years, I had no idea that time reporting could be so easy and so intuitive until we tried TimeFox."

The Eight Irresistible Principles of Fun
by Michael Bungay Stanier
Are you having fun?
For many of us, work is not a fun experience.
It's tolerable. It might be exciting at times. And it pays the bills (or some of them at least).
But it's not fun.
I could show you statistics and studies that demonstrate how having fun helps "the bottom line". I could tell you stories about leading organizations that work hard to build fun into their corporate culture.
But you already know in your heart that it's important to have fun at work. Not necessarily to improve the bottom line, but simply because you spend so much of your life there.
Great Work? Or Good Work?
By fun, I'm not talking about bringing in balloons to work or hanging up signs that say "you don't have to be crazy to work here ... but it helps." I'm talking about connecting to work that's important and fantastic – and then letting nothing get in your way to do it.
One way to consider this is to divide everything you do at work into these three categories: Bad Work, Good Work and Great Work.

Every Day Is a Deliverable
A Customer Perspective by Brendon Shank
On the second day of my new business venture, I stared at a blank Excel spreadsheet for 15 minutes, trying to figure out a way to track my time that was easy and comprehensive at the same time.
Then I emailed FunctionFox to learn about their TimeFox demo package. Fifteen minutes later, a real, live person called me to walk me through the demo and the TimeFox features. He was patient and friendly – explaining TimeFox, not selling it (I don't know whether to attribute this to the company or its Canadian roots). Months later, I'm still sold.
Why I Called
As an independent communications and PR specialist, my time is more than my money. It is my clients' money.
That's why it is so important for me to track and balance my time as closely as possible. For my clients, I monitor for return on their investment. For my business, I monitor for profitability and efficiency. But those are only the foundation of a solid PR business model. I turned to an online timesheet application for its flexibility, transparency, metrics and cost-effectiveness.
Flexibility
One of the key attributes of working with a one-person shop is flexibility.
