We love TimeFox by FunctionFox. It has changed the way our design business works, and helps us to work smarter. 

The program has all the data breakdowns we Type A personalities love while maintaining an intuitive, friendly interface that the designers will actually use. Everyone in our office actually enters their time within 24 hours because it isn't a dreadful process. We easily separate tasks for client-billable work and have learned that we spend as much time managing a project as we do on creative tasks. We use historical data to help us prepare better quotes, which means winning work at a price that both parties can afford. This benefit right here means that TimeFox easily pays for itself.

Project managers and our office manager all love TimeFox because they can track project budgets with ease. We can adjust course if needed to make up time or celebrate being under budget. It is easy to track client out-of-scope requests as well and simply bill for those hourly.

We also learned through TimeFox reports that we spend too much time on client presentations and proposal writing. This kind of information prompts us to re-evaluate our processes and streamline or simplify the things that we can. Being more efficient means more time for the work that matters.

Your email contest is especially 'timely' as each December, our entire staff participates in a tune-up of Task Codes for implementation in the new year. This year, we decided to track our marketing tasks differently and are now breaking it down into activities instead of projects.
