Step 3: Set up Clients

The client level in FunctionFox is the top tier of your account setup. If the term 'Client', doesn’t suit your name conventions, you can customize your naming preferences for your account (common examples include: Department, Customer, or Project).

To add new Clients:

  1. Navigate to 'Clients > Manage' in the left menu.
  2. Enter the Client Name.
  3. Click Save New

Note: The Client name may already be set to 'Department' if you have a FunctionFox In-House account.


FOX TIP: You can associate a code with each client, or set up custom project codes for each client. Learn more about account customization here.

Editing Clients

  1. Click on the edit pencil create next to the client you wish to edit.
  2. Make your desired changes.
  3. Click Save Edit

Deleting Clients

  1. Click on the delete icon delete next to the client you wish to remove.

Note: you can only delete Clients that have no Projects associated with them.
